Mehdi Foundation Canada Joins PTI Protest in Toronto!
Mehdi Foundation does support Imran Khan and his cause for the betterment of Pakistan because of his sincerity and loyalty with the country; we strongly believe in and encourage standing up for the truth and for justice, however, we are not affiliated nor do we have any sort of connection with any political party. Pakistan has suffered long and hard at the hands of tyrants - cruel, corrupt and dishonest leaders - and we see a ray of hope for Pakistan in the passionate patriotism of Imran Khan.
A sin itself has no classification; it depends on the religion. Certain acts are known as sins in certain religions. Maybe what Islam declares as a sin, Christianity or Judaism doesn’t declare it as a sin. What is a sin then? A sin is a legislation of the religious law – it doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad act. If God doesn’t want you to do certain things and you do it, it’s a sin. Sitting down or standing up is not a sin; but if God says, ‘Sit down,’ don’t stand. If you stand up, it’s a sin. In other words a sin is an act of disobedience. If someone is a sinner, it does not mean he is a bad person because not all sins are bad.
Mehdi Foundation International is a spiritual organisation with no affiliation to any political party. We, however, believe in standing up for truth and justice. Under the regime of Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan has seen an unprecedented rise in terrorism, poverty and sectarianism due to Nawaz Sharif’s policies and dishonesty. We understand that Imran Khan is a sincere politician who has the best interests of the Pakistani nation at heart; therefore, MFI wholeheartedly supports him and all those like him.
'Now that democracy is on the brink of historical reforms, let's reform our nation and their character also, in light of the teachings of Muhammad (saw).'
According to a Hadith (Prophetic Tradition) of Muhammad (saw), reformation of character is directly dependent on reformation of the heart. The Prophet states, ‘O’ Sons of Adam! There is a lump of flesh in your body. If it is correct, the entire body is correct. And if it is corrupt, the entire body is corrupt. Remember well: it is your heart.’
